    How it works

    1. Catch it.The moment you notice it, before you react or just after, that counts. Late is still a catch.
    2. Tap it.One tap. No diary, no essay.
    3. Do today’s move. One small thing a day for seven days. Then keep counting if it helps.

Why a count, not a streak

You cannot fail this. There is no streak to break and nothing resets if you miss a day. Streak challenges suit people who already feel on top of things; if you already feel you are failing, a reset is the last thing you need. Seven days is for noticing. Making it a habit takes longer: the best-known study of habit forming (Lally and colleagues, UCL, 2010) found it took a median of about 66 days, with a wide range. So count the catches, not the days.
